NYCC 2017: Hulu Releases First Official Marvel Runaways Trailer

Chances are you already have cable/satellite of some kind, plus a Netflix password, and perhaps even CBS All Access or HBOgo. And if you weren’t already paying for Hulu, you might want to get ready to dole out a few more dollars each month for another streaming subscription service. During New York Comic Con, Hulu released the first trailer for Marvel’s Runaways.

Based on the 2003 Marvel comic of the same name, Runaways follows the super powered children of a group of evil doers known as “The Pride.” The angsty teens formed a sort of family of their own, trying to prove to themselves that they weren’t like their parents. Created by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona, the original series had a 30 issue run before being cancelled (twice) by 2009. In June of 2017, the series was revived by Marvel and a new team of Rainbow Rowell and Kris Anka took over.

Marvel Runaways premieres on Hulu starting November 21st.

Jasmin loves Batman, sci-fi, and movies with lots of explosions. When she’s not writing about geektastic things, she’s probably playing video games or watching sports. Her ultimate goals include traveling the world to watch tennis and working for BioWare to revive the essence of the original Mass Effect Trilogy.
